Regis "Reegie" Wilson

            The Bio

Regis Wilson(born August 10, 1994) Is an Indiana native rapper. He also goes by the name Reegie which was given to him by his family when he was a child and he grew up on the far east side of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Reegie grew up in a low class poverty based environment. To stay out of trouble, his mother got him involved in sports.  As a child he always had a love for drawing and music. Growing on the far east side in Amberwoods Apartments he would eventually be drawn into the wrong crowds and endeavor in illegal activities. He was lucky enough not to wind up in jail or even worse, DEAD.

Around 2009 during his 8th grade year in middle school he began rapping for fun his with his friend Jalen Johnson. Regis drew his inspiration from rappers E-40, 2Pac, Eminem, 8ball, and MJG. He never really got into though, so he laid off it and focused more on drawing and sports. Then, in 2012 during his junior year of high school he and another football player by the name of Brandon Brown(Stage name Dino B) began rapping after Wilson overheard Brown rapping a song by E-40 titled "The Art Of Story Telling?. Wilson joined in tune and there they started their friendship and an unnamed rap duo. They began to freestyle and recording music on their laptop after school. A few other teammates they called Rob, DL, Demark, and Ben Lynch eventually jumped in the cyphers rapping, singing, and beat boxing. There they formed the group Nasty Entertainment. They gained a lot of buzz around the school and a little bit around the city. Once school was over everyone went there separate ways but, Wilson and Brown still recorded music off and on. Later that year Reegie started doing tattoos out of his mothers house so he could make money. On January 27, 2015 his first child was born. His daughter Aloni Wilson became his new inspiration to continue rapping. He ended up linking up with his uncle  The Original “Dj Flip” a well known producer, and they got right to recording music. Now he's been working on his first  mixtape and a duo mixtape with Dino B that he plans on releasing early August of 2015. With his family, friends, and supporters on his shoulders he plans to take over the music scene in his city and give the streets what they've been missing.
